ارتقى مانشستر سيتي للمركز الثاني بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، بفوزه على ضيفه كريستال بالاس، بنتيجة (4-0)، مساء اليوم الأحد، ضمن مباريات الجولة الـ19.

وسجل رباعية مانشستر سيتي، جون ستونز في الدقيقتين (26 و68)، وإلكاي جوندوجان في الدقيقة (56)، ورحيم سترلينج في الدقيقة (88).

وبهذا الفوز، صعد السيتي إلى المركز الثاني برصيد 35 نقطة، بفارق نقطتين وراء المتصدر مانشستر يونايتد، علما بأن له مباراة مؤجلة.
