ارتقى تشيلسي للمركز الرابع بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، بفوزه على ضيفه نيوكاسل يونايتد 2-0 مساء الإثنين، في ختام الجولة الرابعة والعشرين.

وسجل أوليفييه جيرو بالدقيقة (31) وتيمو فيرنر في الدقيقة (39) هدفي المباراة.

وارتفع رصيد تشيلسي إلى 42 نقطة في المركز الرابع، بفارق الأهداف فقط أمام وست هام يونايتد، فيما بقي رصيد نيوكاسل 25 نقطة في المركز السابع عشر.
