اعتلى ليستر سيتي صدارة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، بفوزه على ضيفه تشيلسي 2-0 مساء الثلاثاء، في مباراة مؤجلة من الجولة الثامنة عشر.

وسجل ويلفريد نديدي وجيمس ماديسون هدفي المباراة، في الدقيقتين 6 و41.

بهذا الانتصار، يتصدر ليستر ترتيب الدوري برصيد 38 نقطة، بفارق نقطة عن مانشستر يونايتد الذي يملك مباراة مؤجلة، فيما بقي رصيد تشيلسي 29 نقطة في المركز الثامن.
